Every year, EUJS gets the chance to bring Jewish student leaders from all over Europe to the U.S. The idea is to strengthen the contact between the presidents of the unions and to offer them with a unique leadership training.
It is our flagship programme and seeks to address the future leadership of European Jewish communities.
During the trip, the 30 participants will be able to attend the American Jewish Committee’s (AJC) annual Global Forum in Washington D.C. and hear from top guest speakers - past speakers have included Hilary Clinton and John Kerry. The forum is an international platform for all topics that concern the Jewish community and attracts over 2000 people every year including parliamentary officials, diplomats and community leaders.
This year we would additionally offer a three days training over Shavuot in Brussels together with the OSCE.
We would therefore love for you to appoint a member of the EUJS delegation and represent your community by demonstrating what it means to be a European student leader.
The dates of the trip are:
To Brussels Tuesday evening May 29th
From Washington DC Wednesday 6th June 2016
