We would like to share with you a great initiative called ‘Mitzvah Day’ that the EJC strongly supports and which will take place on 22ndNovember, 2015.
Please find attached the Mitzvah Day leaflet containing all practical details and information.
The goal of this project is to bring thousands of people together to take part in collective, hands-on social action projects which make a real difference to local issues. The ‘Mitzvah Day’ animates participants – regardless of age, faith, affiliation, gender or socio-economic position – to donate their time and energy to a diverse range of causes in order to help those in need around the world.
Please click on the following link for more information: http://www.mitzvahday.org.uk
The project originated in the UK and has already spread its presence in 18 other countries, including several in Europe.
We would like to kindly encourage you to help launch this project in your community/city or to support the one already existing in your country.
